Oral Pathology 2 (HPT411n/HPT411a)

The Oral Pathology-2 course aims to provide the preclinical student with information about the histopathologic features of different oral lesions to prepare the student for the concept of differential diagnosis with other clinical data. The course provide the student also with information about systemic diseases with oral manifestations and some syndromes. By the end of this course, the student will be able to differentiate between different benign, premalignant and malignant lesions. The course also introduces students to the different types of, salivary and bone diseases and soft tissue anomalis. By the end of this course the students will understand the aetiology, incidence, clinical, radiographic and histopathological aspects and prognosis of such lesions.
