The course is concerned with introducing techniques of translating different media genres, print and non-print, from Arabic into English and vice versa. Types of print media include news headlines, features, reports, articles, interviews, while those of non-print media involve T.V. programmes, news and others. The content and skills taught are those necessary in one’s career. The methodology is learner-centred, based on students’ participation, since they are expected to play an active role in the learning process.
