Financial Management I (FAC210/FIN201)
This unit aims to enable students to understand and apply financial management concepts, techniques and approaches with the emphasis on decision-oriented approaches to problems. The unit introduces the foundational concepts of financial management, such as financial statement analysis, time value of money, stock and bond valuation, and capital budgeting techniques.
Financial Management II (FIN202 - FAC211)
This unit provides students with the advanced knowledge and application of financial management. The unit evaluates the use of funds to meet the firm’s objectives. The unit acquaints students with information on financial management activities, identifying business' strengths and weaknesses, evaluating investment opportunities, forecasting future funding needs and making investment decisions.
Fixed Prosthodontics 1 (PRS351n - PRS351)
This
preclinical course is designed to provide the students with basic technology
concepts of fixed Prosthodontics. Biomechanical principles of tooth reduction
for extra-coronal restorations are taught. This proceeds in addition to the
application of these concepts on anatomic ivorine teeth mounted on models
simulating teeth in the oral cavity. Furthermore, the students are trained in
the various laboratory steps needed for the laboratory fabrication of full
metallic restorations.
Fixed Prosthodontics 2 (PRS361/PRS361n/RES363z)
The course is designed to provide the students with basic theoretical concepts of fixed prosthodontics. Biomechanical principles of tooth reduction for full coverage extracoronal restorations are taught regarding all ceramic and porcelain fused to metal restorations. This proceeds in addition to the application of these concepts on anatomic ivorine teeth mounted in models simulating teeth in the oral cavity. Furthermore, the students are trained on the various laboratory steps needed for the laboratory fabrication of Jacket and veneered restorations. This course fulfills the SDS3 which is good health and well being.
Forensic Chemistry (PC424n)
This course describes the drugs, chemicals (heavy metals) and plants including their natural products that constitute health hazards, or intended for criminal uses to produce, abortion, loss of mental control, hallucination, heart arrest. Also it includes the study of drug dependents, narcotics, analgesics psycho-energetics, euphoric Mycotoxin as a serious threat to general health and safety of community, contamination of food material with poisonous fungi.

FSHN272-Textile materials for fashion
Classifying textile fibres, and evaluate the effect of their physical, mechanical and chemical properties on textile products, suggest proper end uses of the fibres considering their favourable and unfavourable properties, the student would recognize common fibre, yarn and fabric types and develop an ability to match fabrics to their specifications.
FSHN351-Fashion design II
This is an on-going course; in part II students are introduced to textile and fabric development. The students develop individual design sensibilities while using real-world design problems for content. The student then engages in individual and collaborative design work, which is fabricated in the apparel studio.
