Endodontics Technology (RES412)

theoretical part of the preclinical endodontic course enables the students to learn the scope and indications of Endodontics. It is concerned with the study and exploration of morphology of the human

dental pulp, concentrates on the mechanical aspects of cavity preparation and gaining access to root canals, as well as cleaning, shaping and filling of root canals and study of instruments used during root canal treatment.

Student should know all the basic steps for endodontic treatment by the end of this course 

Clinical Operative Dentistry 4 (RES541a/RES541n)

This course is concerned with providing the dental students with the art and science of  remineralization and conservation of teeth defects, the different light curing units and managing cases of teeth discoloration. It also introduces them to nanotechnology in dentistry, which has recently been formulated the new era in conservative dentistry worldwide.


Clinical Operative Dentistry 3 (RES531a)

This course is concerned with providing the dental students with the art and science of Adhesion and bonding, the different carious and non-carious cases of teeth. It also introduces them to esthetic considerations in dentistry, which has recently been formulated the new era in conservative dentistry worldwide. In addition to failure and repair of restorations. Students fulfill their clinical requirements under supervision in the department clinics where the patients have access to treatment completely free of charge

Clinical Operative Dentistry 2 (RES421n/RES421)

This course is concerned with providing the dental students with the art and science of selection of proper restorative material, the different methods of control of pain. It also introduces them to oral environment and moisture control in dentistry, in addition to teeth hypersensitivity and management of deep caries. 

This course fulfils SDS3 which is good health and well being.

Clinical Operative Dentistry 1 (RES411/RES411n)

The Clinical Operative Dentistry 1 course aims to provide the dental students different protocols for proper infection control in addition to the health and occupational hazards of the dental procedure. It also helps them to identify the different types of bases and liners and their application.

Understand the biological influences of dental materials and restorative procedures on health status of dentino-pulpal organ.
