This course deals with the terms and definitions concerned with removable partial denture prosthodontics as well as the components of removable partial denture.

   The aims of the module are to provide deeper knowledge about commonly used drugs affecting different biological systems and their implications in therapy of diseases and health promotion. It also aims to understand the commonly used safe drugs regarding their adverse effects, contraindications and drug interactions, together with the applied aspects of the pharmacological actions of the major drug groups used in medicine in order to enable them to utilize therapeutic agents in a rational and responsible manner in the treatment of patients.

This module aims at explaining the basic functions of the different organs of the human body and their correlations

to each other’s. It also demonstrates the pathophysiological changes that occurs as a result of cellular injury and

recognize the relation between the cellular and the system changes which occur in some disease processes with their

1. comprehensively take History & examine an orthodontic patient
2. Gather the necessary orthodontic records; manual & digital.
3. Analyze orthodontic records including study model assessment and radiographic interpretation both manually & digitally. 
4. diagnose an orthodontic malocclusion by formulating an orthodontic problem list and a diagnostic summary
5. Perform a digital diagnostic set-up/treatment simulation
6. identify the treatment protocols in orthodontic management.
7. formulate a treatment plan. & do a case presentation
8. Know how to place separators, orthontic bands and brackets
9. fabricate removable retainers, functional applances, soldered appliances and bend multilooped arch wires, T loops, bonded and Essix retainers.

- This module is designed to provide students with an analysis of real world complex project systems including planning phase, scheduling phase and control phase. 

- The Planning Phase includes network development, precedence diagramming as well as expansion, condensation and elimination of activities. 

- The scheduling phase includes deterministic and probabilistic duration times, forward and backward pass computation, slack time calculation, and critical path identification. 

- The control phase includes cost control monitor, resource constrains, and time-cost tradeoff. Organization staffing and evaluating alternatives are also included. 

- Real case studies.

This course aims to introduce students to the language of psychology to broaden their understanding of human nature, as they develop critical understanding of psychological thinking and research about human development, personality, cognitive functioning, and mental health. It will familiarize students with the different perspectives in psychology and help them understand how psychology is applied. Students will learn how psychology influences everyday activities and they will be provided with a broad overview of introductory topics in the discipline.

This course aims at introducing the student to the bases and principles of public health; different measures of disease burden and health status. Different diseases of international public health significance will be reviewed, with a focus on epidemiologic research and methods used to describe and analyze disease determinants. The course also aims at exposing students to different interventions (prevention and control strategies) that are used to reduce the burden of both communicable and non-communicable diseases
